  • Cross Stitch Workshop

    Saturday, May 25th
    10am-1pm

    Learn the basics of cross stitch embroidery and how to read patterns. Select a bird of your choice. Materials included.

    No experience required.

  • Introduction to Garment Knitting

    June 1, 8, 15 and July 6, 13, 20th
    Saturday’s from 2:00pm-3:30pm

    In this introduction to garment knitting class, you will be knitting and adapting the Flax Light Sweater pattern (by Tin Can Knits), making a short sleeve top that is perfect for spring and summer!

    Throughout this 6 week course you will be guided through gauge swatching, finding your size, learning to read a pattern, and knitting a basic raglan style top down top.

    Requirements: Some basic knitting skills will be needed such as casting on, knitting, purling, knitting in the round on circular needles, and binding off.

    Provided:

    Authentic Belknap Mill yarn, a printed pattern and instruction.

    You will need:
    -size US #2 /2.75mm
    -16" or longer circulars (for the collar and ribbing)
    -US #5 / 3.75mm 40" or longer circulars (for body of sweater)

  • Painting with Wool Workshop

    Saturday, June 22nd
    10am-2pm

    Join us for a morning of relaxing fun while creating this beautiful landscape "painting" with wool.

    You will leave the class with a finished project in hand and a knowledge of needle felting. All materials will be provided for the class. No experience necessary.

    Participants are encouraged to bring along a light lunch or snacks.

  • Introduction to Crochet

    Wednesdays 5:30pm-7:00pm
    June 5-July 10

    Instructor Carol will teach you basic crochet fundamentals, pattern reading and help you build your skills.
